Essaouira Surf School runs daily surf lessons on Plage d'Essaouira (31.5120° N, 9.7700° W), Morocco's most forgiving city beach break. Morning glass before the trade wind, soft sandbanks for beginners, and quick transfers to Sidi Kaouki when swell opens up.

Plage d'Essaouira — your lesson beach

Wide Atlantic sand, no reef underfoot in the teaching zone, and peaks that reform gently in whitewater. We meet at the flagged school zone south of the fishing port — look for gold boards and ISA coach bibs.

Sidi Kaouki day trips (30 km)

When the bay is flat or you want more push, we drive 25–35 minutes to Plage Sidi Kaouki for open-faced sandbars. Included on selected packages; private upgrades available at booking.

Medina & logistics

The UNESCO medina is ~12 minutes on foot from the beach (1.2 km via Avenue Oqba Ibn Nafiaa). Riad guests: we send a pin by WhatsApp the evening before. Parking available along the corniche.
